Upon a major re-build of this classic split-level house from the early 1980’s, the entire yard was revisited. With a main entrance situated on the long side of the property, the ‘front garden’ became this linear, sloped bed interrupted only by a skinny concrete walkway. As the only remaining element from the previous garden, a billowing row of stunted pines creates the spine along which grasses, heathers and moss are laid out.
